There was an attempted auto theft 11PM tonight at 13936 SE158th Street. The perps smashed the car windows, opened the glove boxes, but didn't appear to take anything. The owner heard the alarms and went outside immediately and heard a car speeding away but couldn't see anyone. Renton Police were notified.
