Safety Concerns In Our Area - 140th Speed Limits

As most of you are aware, there are several residents in and around our neighborhood who have raised concerns about speeding and safety on 140th. Fairwood Greens along with Maple Ridge Estates and other developments have banded together to get the attention of local authorities including the King County Councilmember (Reagan Dunn) in hopes of a resolution.

Thanks for advocating for us and for posting this response! If you all get a chance to forward feedback from our neighborhood I will chime in with the thought that one of the proposed “fixes,” a reduced speed limit isn’t really a fix. The problem is drivers currently disregard the speed limit; lowering it I will NOT magically make folks slow down.
