Treasurer’s Report

  1. Financials Report out

  2. 9 Houses have sold in 2018 YTD

  3. Need to transfer the website billing from prior President

  4. Pete and Rick to review the HOA banking accounts

  5. Tax Return has been filed.

  6. 2018 Dues Report – about ¾ have been paid.

  7. Audit Update

  8. Open Action for Pete. Shannon and Vaughn have volunteered to support the Audit.

Committee Reports

  1. Maintenance



  2. Monument – Canber

  3. Lighting – Board voted in favor to request a lighting assessment. Janet to request for proposal pricing with a not to exceed amount $ and/or hrs

  4. Bark around monuments – beauty barks around the 2 monuments.

  5. Board voted in favor of Canber – quoted $975

  6. Common Area Maintenance – Spring 2018

  7. Play Area Structure

  8. Board voted in favor – for quote received of $1,800 – received from Northwest Playground.

  9. Request to company to assess the play structure maintenance/tune up.

  10. Dethatch/Reseed – Postponed to Fall 2018

  11. Board voted in favor – Quote from Canber – $2,611.

  12. Park Trail graveled to be refreshed

  13. Request Canber for a quote.

  14. Dead tree to be addressed

  15. Janet to request Canber to pull out the dead tree.

  17. Open Items

  18. Addressed: “Chickens” were removed in April

  19. Addressed: Cul-de-sac off 158th, parking issues has been resolved

  20. New Business

  21. Pride of Ownership award – in surrounding neighborhoods. Board to evaluate if this should be implemented. Set up for monthly or quarterly award, could incent with discounted dues. Rick to request sample criteria for the program.

  22. One house with Christmas lights (in cul-de-sac near the park).

  23. One house with a boat park in front yard.

  24. 2 trees on both sides of 158th st have been dropping pine needles and need to be addressed.

  25. Vacant house (upper) has lawn overgrown.

  26. Will attempt to contact the homeowner(s) for first notice. Next step, board will hire company to address the maintenance and charge to owners.

New Business

  1. New Board Positions

  2. Board to Consider hiring HOA Service – Property Mgmt Company

  3. Administrative Services – take meeting minutes, maintain website, send letters?

  4. Rick to get quotes.

  5. Neighborhood Picnic

  6. Helene coordinated with City of Renton – invited some City Officials

  7. Board will provide hotdogs/chips/drinks/water balloons

  8. Potluck style from neighbors

  9. Scheduled: Wednesday, August 8th (5pm-8pm)

  10. Helene to print out fliers and get distributed

  11. Roseana to update Facebook and Website

  12. Garage Sale – Board voted against a community wide sale. To be revisited in Summer 2019.
