How is your front yard looking? Here are a few ideas about enhancing your home's curb appeal.
When looking at your lawn, what stands out as needing your assistance? A winterizing lawn food and maybe some weeding? Edging can really help make your lawn pop. Don't forget to recycle those hardy weeds that prefer our landscaping. Also, help keep your lawn healthy all fall and winter by removing leaf build up that block the lawn's light and access to air.
Is your entrance way inviting? Lighten it up! Clean any cobwebs, maybe replace your sconce or porch light with something fun, and maybe add solar path lanterns. Have grime and dirt power-washed, but remember safety glasses are a must, if you're doing the work. You're sure to be pleased with the cleaner look and as a bonus, the walkways will be less slippery.
Have any little used or no longer used personal property being stored out front? Why not remove it out of sight? Tidying things up is quite powerful, your home will really begin to shine.
Getting started is often the most difficult step. Start with a dream list, then tackle the area that will give you the most satisfaction first. The rest will then seem to be a piece of cake; hopefully!
This year our Fall Cleanup is now easier! Maple Ridge Estates will have a yard bin on November 11th that will be ok to use for yard waste and regular trash! The regular trash restrictions apply to the bin, just as your own garbage tote, only the bin can take much larger items.
There have been many people refreshing the curb appeal of their homes, small projects like weeding, trimming, etc., to people tackling replacing their lawns completely. Wow!
Thank you all for all that you do and Happy Holidays!
